Songbird Rose Liu has announced that she will be releasing her debut album in October this year.
Coming from an untrained background, she rose up the ranks to clinch second place in Taiwanese televised singing reality show "Super Star Avenue" , and further rose in the public eye when she came third runner-up from Na Ying's team on the Chinese reality singing competition "Voice of China".
It has been seven years since her debut, with Rose going through many periods of uncertainty in her journey, such as working as an independent artist without a record label for several years, before finally re-signing and going through seven levels of gruelling auditions to make it onto "The Voice Of China".
Expressing her excitement at finally being able to release her own album, Liu took to Facebook to share her experience doing her first photo shoot for the album, saying that after she had gone through all the preparations for the shoot, she burst into tears upon standing in front of the camera, as she was so moved by the effort all her team had put into allowing this dream of hers to come true!
Boss and artiste Matilda Tao also surprised Liu by livestreaming her recording session, giving fans a sneak peek into her latest song "Yet I still think of you". Listen to it below! Oh, and once again, congratulations Rose!
