-Music legend David Tao is set to release his newest album next year! Not much is known about it , but he never failed to please. Each and every one of his past albums have been made with care to the highest level of perfection possible , and I really admire him for that. I beleive that his newest will be no different!
-Singer-Songwriter Abin Fang will be releasing his new album a little sooner , during December this year. He's been up and about this year , writing songs , especially for Fan Fanh , for whom he wrote her first single for her album <Together> . He also recorded a single , called <In your arms> , which I would definitely recommend listeners because the lyrics are so sweet! Translations are on the lyric blog of this website!
This is the fourth MV for William Wei's newest album <Someone is Waiting> , and I really quite like this song , because it gives me a sense of deja vu , like I've heard it before . But in a good way , not a oh-my-god-he's-plagiarised-someone way. Haha. Anyway , I really do like it and I hope you do too! Throughout his album it seems that William's created a very solid genre range throughout which he sticks to , and I really appreciate that , because it makes the album concept a lot stronger too!
This is one of my favourite songs at the moment , and its from rock chick Jing Chang's newest album of the same name , <小女孩>(Little Girl). The song itself was written by Skot Suyama and his wife Ting Chu for their daughter and is a song filled with warmth , happiness and is overall a really feel-good song. It's really simply arranged and produced with the guitar as the base to create a folk-inspired atmosphere. It suits her alto-style voice very well and fills the atmosphere , bringing to us the happiness the song reflects . Lyrics by Ting Chu are really meaningful , sweet and personal. The melody is charming and sweet and I feel that the melody and lyrics fit together perfectly meaning wise. The cute little tag in the middle adds a little of Skot's signature style to it , a little country rock on top of the folksy theme , adding to the vocals , building up on the harmonies . The giggling sounds of what I'm assumming is their baby girl is also a really sweet touch and overall really made me fall in love with the song , and with the video.JIng's Tag also showcases her melodic and gentle voice , building on a lighter sound that brings us back after Skot's hook. Hope you all enjoy it!

Yen-J is all set to release his newest album , dubbed Y3 by himself. It is named <Single Love> and is said to be about his ex-girlfriend (no , not the first one that he wrote his debut album about!). He has released two single for this album already ; First up, <打喷嚏>(Sneezing). What I really like about Yen-J is that he always injects a really weird but funny sense of humour into his works and always uses very interesting vocal backings which are not commonly used within the chinese music industry nowadays. Basically , if you're fazed by him singing "Ha-chew Ha-chew.." over and over again don't be , just take it in your stride because he's weird that way , and enjoy the song! I also enjoyed the hook where he edited a person sneezing and turned it into a beatbox mix , adding another element to the song. It has a really sweet theme , which is that when you sneeze , that means someone is thinking about you. Hmm...food for thought. Funnily enough , the MV which stars Janet hsieh as the female lead is all about food and nutrition. Enjoy!
Second Up: Yen-J's second release which has been praised by Mayday's Ashin as addictive and really nice! (In his own words of course). I myself also quite like this song , which introduces new genres such as R n B which provides a strong foundation for this song with elements of hip hop on it! The lyrics are heartfelt and simple with a very strong and concise message!
Yen-J is known for his fresh , innovative and creative ideas about music , and although I haven't heard his album yet , these two tracks leave me wanting more !
