The beautiful Fan Fan has announced the release of her 10th album "Fan Fan's Thanksgiving" for the 9th of January next year.
The long-awaited album comes after the birth of her twins River and Ryan last year, and will be available for pre-order on the 22nd of December.
It will also feature collaborations with the likes of Lala Hsu, William Wei and Dawen Wang, hinting at some interesting collabs I'm super excited about!

ALBUM REVIEW: CHRISTINE FAN – “FAN FAN’S THANKSGIVING” (TAIWAN, 2016)Jocelle Koh | May 10, 2016 | Album Reviews, Reviews, Trending
Christine Fan‘s release of her latest album Fan Fan’s Thanksgiving signalled the long-awaited comeback of the singer, who went on hiatus due to the birth of her twin boys. Her new album is unsurprising in that it once again presents her brand of warm, calming pop; but differs from previous works in the new generation of songwriters she’s chosen to work with this time around including the likes of Dawen Wang and William Wei.
Fan Fan’s Thanksgiving signals a new stage of life for the singer, who has throughout the years transformed from a pop idol hosting talk shows, to a singer-songwriter experimenting with new genres. But much like her previous two albums, it seems Fan has gone back to the soothing style she’s more comfortable with, something that really shines through in her embodiment of the album.
The album pays homage to her signature warm, satisfying ballad sound with songs such as “感恩節 Thanksgiving” which are pleasant and allow Christine’s throaty vocals to envelop the listener’s ears, however many other tracks on the album have a tinge of difference to them, lending Fan’s music the pop of colour it needs to keep listeners hanging on.
One such song is “很久很久以後 Very very long ago”, which embodies a very listenable and slightly conventional melody, yet finds innovation in the relaxed dub step beat that carries the song’s arrangement. The beat in combination with the catchy melody caught my attention, and despite not having listened to the song much more than about 5 – 6 times I’m able to recall it instantly by memory.
